Newest System Proves to Be Stylish and Affordable

After lots of research to make our Jet Bags better, we've determined how to make our Jet Bags the best they can be.

Check out the newest options available:
  1. Our inner bags can be purchased separately – making your outer bags reusable if your wine bottle doesn't break!
  2. You can buy different designs that suit your style.
  3. You can also get them custom made with your own company's logo.

Another great way to use our Jet Bags is to transport liquor, perfume, vinegar, or any liquid you purchase that may be contained in a breakable bottle. It's not just for wine! Check them out at our website, www.thejetbag.com.

Dining & Distributors – A Jet Bag Affair through Europe

Earlier this year, Alessandro and myself returned to Italy, France, Croatia and Spain to acquire new clients for our state-of-the-art wine travel bag – and in turn, visited some trade shows and tried some new restaurants along the way.

At the beginning of our trip, we traveled through familiar cities to us in Europe. At our first stop – in Paris, France – we attended the Maison & Objet trade show to meet with a few potential customers for our product – a biodegradable, protective state-of-the-art wine carrier bag. After saying “au revior” to Paris, we traveled to Turin in northern Italy – where we visited Ristorante Allegria in Pavarolo, a city in the hills of Turin. We sampled polenta and wild boar, fritto misto alla Piemontese (an assortment of fried foods including eggplant, beef, and pineapple).

I also caught a Juventus football game in their brand new stadium in Turin, where I'm from. I also got to spend time with my family and visit with old friends from high school.

Shortly after our culinary adventure in Turin, we traveled to Vincenza in northeastern Italy, and visited the restaurant La Nogarazza. There, we tried a new dish – Pici (similar to buccatini) as well as pheasant, and had polenta and Baccala (dried cod).

We then found ourselves heading to Chianti and Florence in Italy, and we toured the Consorzio del Chanti Classico Winery while in Chianti – a winery that makes Gallo Negro – a famous name in the wine world. In Zagabr, Croatia, we met with Sanja Cabalier, the owner of Apetit restaurant, a beautiful Italian themed restaurant. And in Barcelona, Spain, we met with distributors, agents and retailers, and visited the restaurant 7 Portes, where we enjoyed paella, and at Senor Parellada, where we sampled Dorada – a Mediterranean fish. We also made a stop at the Saint Saturnin Winery in the Cava region of Spain. It was a very successful trip and we got ten new clients.

Travel is a regular part of our work schedule. We just recently traveled to Idaho for a factory visit. We also visited California, Oregon and Washington to meet new clients, and had meetings with sales staff in California. While in Seattle, we also got to meet with a buyer from Amazon, which is an internet based company headquartered there. Although we have traveled the world, we had never been to Oregon and Washington, and we were very excited to visit and explore.

New Jet Bag Look kicks off Spring Season at Idea Mia

On March 1, Idea Mia partners Marco Cucco and Alessandro Campanati introduced the latest and greatest packaging for its biodegradable wine diaper – The Jet Bag. The updated packaging, which was revealed at the 2012 International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago, gives a modern look to the bag that saves your wine on long trips. And this isn't the only updating the Jet Bag will see this year. Later this year, you can look forward to seeing the same technology applied to other items that need to be cared for during travel as well. With steady growth expected over the next 12 months, make sure to keep your eyes peeled for what Jet Bag and Idea Mia plan to launch this year.
